The AVP Academic & Vice Provost

oversees the undergraduate program review process, curriculum development and planning, the coordination of non-degree studies, joint curricular initiatives with other post-secondary institutions, and coordinates the academic response to government requests and proposals
develops and coordinates special projects such as the New Faculty Day, the School for Academic Administrators and Associate Dean's Meetings
works closely with the Vice-President Academic in the development of a strategic academic plan to pursue and encourage new academic initiatives
fosters the enhancement of teaching and learning.
